Old Kentucky Turnpike

28.1 miles -

This natural route from the Falls of the Ohio south was a major factor in the area's settlement. This segment of the Turnpike begins at My Old Kentucky Home State Park in Bardstown and travels southwest to the Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historic Site in Hodgenville. Don't miss two other National Historic Sites along the way -- Lincoln's Boyhood Home and Knob Creek.
