The Broward County A1A Scenic Highway provides residents and tourists alike the opportunity to experience 32 miles of changing vistas that include habitat of flora and fauna indigenous to the area as well as migratory birds. This corridor is located alongside an extraordinary waterway called the Intracoastal Waterway, which has its own historical tales to tell. It is home to rare, threatened and endangered species, including the manatee.
