The Glacial Ridge Trail Scenic Byway meanders along scenic lakes that were created by giant glaciers from the Ice Age and through lovely rural countryside.

Visitors will want to stay at lakeside resorts, beautiful campgrounds, or motels in one of the charming small towns along the byway. Staying in the resorts or camping facilities located in Sibley, Monson Lake, and Glacial Lakes state parks provide a number of outdoor adventures for the family. Visitors can enjoy hiking and biking trails, birding sites, and fishing. The many towns along the byway are charming places to spend a night and relax.
